Baggage problem with your company ?

If upon arrival at the airport you notice that your luggage is damaged, or at worst that it has simply disappeared? In these cases, the airline is held responsible and must compensate you in accordance with the Montreal Convention. So you can claim up to 1400 euros.

You have 21 days from the date the baggage is made available to claim reimbursement for your purchases.

The limitation period :

How do I determine which company will be responsible for payment ?

Direct flight :

In the event that the air carrier operating the flight differs from the one where you booked your ticket, if the name or code of a company is indicated on the ticket, it is responsible for your compensation. Otherwise, you have the right to file a complaint or seek compensation  against both.

Flight with stopover :

However, if you are traveling on a route with a stopover, with different companies, or if you have booked your ticket with an airline different from the one that operated the flight, you can claim compensation from each of them.
